Today, January 19, is Get to Know Your Customers Day! Celebrated on the third Thursday of each quarter (January, April, July, October), it’s a great way for businesses across the nation to celebrate and connect with their customers. For us, it gives us another opportunity to better POWER your life.
From providing safe, reliable electric service to community partnerships all across Long Island and the Rockaways, we are here for you. To that end, we want to hear from you! As we continue to work towards building the utility of the future, we want to make sure that we’re meeting all your needs, while keeping you more than satisfied with our services. That’s why it’s important for us to acknowledge #GetToKnowYourCustomersDay. After all, this is our island too, and together we can continue to make PSEG Long Island a best-in-calls utility Long Island can be proud of.
We take every opportunity – and we mean every opportunity – to hear from you on just about every aspect of our service. From reliability projects and tree trimming to our energy efficiency programs and innovations in customer tech, we couldn’t do it without your input!
Some of the ways we stay connected:
- Customer panels – Ongoing events in which we gather a group of Long Islanders to provide in-depth and timely feedback on our business and services.
- Email and phone surveys – Let us know how we’re doing by answering a few simple questions over email or phone.
- Focus groups – An opportunity for a small group of customers to get together to give us feedback on a service, concept or marketing campaign.
- J.D. Power – A global leader in consumer research, advisory services and data, J.D. Power gathers insights based on the opinions of a sample of consumers from the across the country, including Long Island.
What do we do with all that information?
First and foremost, we take what you have to say very seriously. Once we receive your input, we analyze your responses and use them to plan future improvements to our services, procedures and programs with the aim of leaving you a happy and satisfied customer.
So please tell us what you think! Simply open the next survey email we send, or “stay on the line for a quick survey” after talking to one of our customer service reps. As Long Islanders ourselves, we can confidently say, we are all in this together!
